Tallwood Station is the name of a future Transitway station in Ottawa, Ontario,〔http://ottawa.ca/residents/major_projects/sw_transit_ext/index_en.html〕 adjacent to Tallwood Drive. The station is part of Phase 1B of the Baseline Station / Southwest Transitway Expansion project. Construction on the station is set to begin between April and November 2010. The station will be adjacent to the new grade-separated transitway, and will likely require a tunnel underneath Tallwood Drive, as part of the construction includes storm sewer and watermain relocation.〔http://ottawa.ca/residents/major_projects/sw_transit_ext/index_en.html〕 The station will also include an exit from the Transitway extension to Tallwood Drive for local buses or buses that currently travel to/from Baseline Station via Meadowlands Drive, such as routes 86B, 111, and 178.
